Maa Haripriya was born in the UK to an Indian family. Even as a young girl she felt pulled toward something deeper than the life around her, but it took a genuinely hard period in her life to push her to actually leave the UK and move to India in search of it.
My goal is to help set you free so that you can be your true authentic self.
Yoga is what turned things around. She spent long stretches of time training under lineage masters, learning hands-on rather than through short courses, and that’s how she eventually qualified as a Kundalini Yoga teacher. Over time she added Sound Healing, Cacao Rituals, and Reiki to her practice, and she now weaves all of these together into her Kundalini classes rather than keeping them separate, a session with her can move through breathwork, sound, and ritual in one connected flow.
Because Kundalini work can bring up strong reactions in the body, she pays close attention to how each student is doing during a session and adjusts pace rather than pushing everyone through a fixed routine. Students often describe her classes as one of the most intense and meaningful parts of their whole course. She now leads Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training at Bali Yoga Retreats.
