Course overview
Why This Yin Yoga Program
Unlike the two Kundalini pages audited earlier in this series, this syllabus is genuinely, specifically
Yin: meridian theory, the three Tattvas, compression versus tension, the five elements, and a real
23-pose Yin asana library — not a relabeled Hatha curriculum. It also includes a dedicated Yin Pranayama
module and a Yoga Nidra module, both of which cover the breathwork and meditative-relaxation ground the
intro promises. At 8 days and 50 hours, this is also a genuinely easier trip to justify than a full 20+
day program — the same specialty credential you'd get bundled into the 300 or 500-hour programs,
available here on its own if Yin is specifically what you're after.
Bali is one of the world's calmest settings for this kind of slow, inward practice, and you'll be guided
by Bali Yoga Retreats' experienced teaching team.
Yin Yoga is a slow, subtle but genuinely impactful form of yoga — asanas are combined with Yin-specific
pranayama and the stillness of Yoga Nidra, inviting a passive relaxation and a deep opening rather than
active effort. The course is designed to give you a real, working understanding of Yin Yoga.
